Secondary (10)

Marshon Lattimore, Paulson Adebo, Bradley Roby, Alontae Taylor, Smoke Monday, P.J. Williams, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Marcus Maye, Tyrann Mathieu, J.T. Gray

I went ahead and combined the entire secondary together rather than do separate entries for cornerbacks and safeties. The Saints like to mix and match in the secondary anyway so this was the easiest way to do everything.

The only ones listed here who might not make the team are Bradley Roby and Smoke Monday. The other eight guys are pretty much guaranteed to be on the 53-man roster.

Roby was a late offseason addition last summer and didn’t end up playing as much as the team was expecting him to. Monday, on the other hand, was a popular UDFA addition in April and fans immediately were excited to see him joining the black and gold.

This would leave Bryce Thompson on the outs, which I didn’t want to do but not everyone is going to make the cut. It’d also leave Daniel Sorensen off the roster but I probably speak for most Saints fans when I say that wouldn’t be a disappointment.
