New Orleans Saints training camp kicks off in a little under two weeks. What could the 53-man roster look like when things do get underway?

The New Orleans Saints are entering an interesting season. It’ll be their first year of the post-Sean Payton era and second year of the post-Drew Brees era. Dennis Allen is taking over as the head coach while Jameis Winston is coming back for a third season with the black and gold.

Let’s check out what the 53-man roster could look like as we inch closer to training camp.

Quarterbacks (3)

Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Ian Book

Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton are locks to make the team unless one gets injured or something else unforeseen happens. New Orleans likely keeps Ian Book on the practice squad.

I didn’t include Taysom Hill here since he’s more than likely going to be taking the majority of his reps at the tight end position this year.

Winston will be the starter this year unless there’s an injury or something else that pops up to take him out for an extended period of time. Hopefully, we only see Winston and Dalton on the active roster throughout the year.
