4. Michael Thomas (5,950)
Saints WR from 2016-Present
In the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints drafted Michael Thomas out of Ohio State. He stepped in and made an immediate impact in the offense, tallying 1,137 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie.
In the next three seasons, Thomas continued to improve his numbers. During the 2017 season, he had 1,245 yards and five touchdowns. In 2018, he had 1,405 yards and nine touchdowns. The 2019 season, however, Thomas really took things to the next level, notching 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns off of a whopping 149 receptions.
That 2019 season led to Thomas winning the Offensive Player of the Year award, something that he definitely deserved after the numbers that he put up. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been the same player since getting injured in the 2020 season.
During the 2020 season, Thomas had only 438 yards and for the first time during his career, failed to find the end zone during the regular season. He missed all of the 2021 season due to injury and fans are eagerly awaiting to see him back on the field in 2022.
For now, however, he’s fourth all-time in receiving yards.
