Jimmy Graham

It still hurts to think about when the Saints traded Jimmy Graham to Seattle during the 2015 offseason. Yes, the Saints got Max Unger and a first-round pick in that year’s draft but Graham was a game-changer during his time in the Big Easy and it was devastating to see him go.

Graham went over the 1,200-yard receiving mark twice during his five years in New Orleans and had double-digit touchdowns in three of those five seasons. He was quite the weapon when he was a member of the Saints.

After he was dealt to Seattle, Graham never reached the 1,000-yard mark again in his career. He played for the Seahawks for three years, the Packers for two years, and the Bears for the past two years. He’ll turn 36 in November so he’s never going to be the same player he once was but he might still be good for a few touchdowns.

It’s highly unlikely that New Orleans signs Graham but he certainly fits the theme of this post.
