The New Orleans Saints have done a nice job in free agency but could they make more moves? If they decide to add more talent to their roster, could they look to add former Saints players? Here are seven free agents with ties to the organization.
If the New Orleans Saints are looking to reunite with some familiar faces, there are seven former Saints out there still looking for a new home. Not all of these make sense in the Big Easy but they’re worth bringing up.
Let’s take a look at seven free agents who have ties to the black and gold.

I’m surprised that Kwon Alexander is still a free agent but the Saints managed to scoop him up late last offseason so maybe the same thing will happen this time around. Alexander joined the Saints midway through the 2020 season but was injured in December and missed the rest of that campaign.
Fans were pretty excited when the team brought Alexander back for a second stint and despite the low PFF grade, he was a helpful piece to have on defense. With Pete Werner stepping up as a rookie, New Orleans might not feel the need to bring Alexander back for round three but fans would certainly be okay if they did.
