Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Carlton Davis

I hate admitting to this but it was hard finding an overrated player on the Buccaneers’ roster. They’re in the situation they are because of Tom Brady but the organization has done a good job at signing players for a respectable amount of money. The players who are paid more are good too, so I couldn’t pick them as the overrated option.

I ultimately settled on Carlton Davis for the Bucs’ overrated player. Davis isn’t a bad player by any means but he missed seven games last year and has yet to be available for every single regular-season game during his four-year career. He finished the season with a 68.6 PFF grade but the three-year $44.5 million contract the Bucs gave him might have been a bit much with the injury history he has.

Again, it was difficult finding an overrated player on Tampa Bay’s roster but I went with Davis because of his injury history.

Who would you say is each NFC South foe’s most overrated player?
