6. Pierre Thomas (3,745)

Saints RB from 2007-2014

It’s wild that Pierre Thomas went undrafted but the Illinois product made a name for himself in New Orleans and to this day sits sixth all-time in rushing yards for the franchise.

Thomas played for the Saints for eight years and his two best seasons came in 2008 and 2009. The 2008 season saw him rush for 695 yards and nine touchdowns with 909 scrimmage yards and 12 total touchdowns. In 2009, he had 793 rushing yards with six touchdowns while racking up 1,095 yards from scrimmage.

While Thomas never hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark but he was a reliable running back and a fan favorite during his long career in New Orleans. He tried to give it one more shot in the 2015 season with both Washington and the 49ers but it never turned into anything.

Pierre Thomas was one of the best UDFAs in Saints history and he’s sixth all-time in rushing yards for the organization. Not bad for a guy who went undrafted.
