Lewis Kidd, OT (Montana State)

Lewis Kidd is one of the most versatile undrafted free agents that the New Orleans Saints added to their roster, and he could certainly look to showcase that ability this preseason. Kidd, who stands at 6-foot-6 and has position availability, can play either offensive tackle position or either guard position.

Kidd came into college football as a defensive lineman, but made the switch to the offensive side of the ball. Kidd, last year, helped himself to a big senior season by earning All-America honors, and All-Big Sky Honors, and helped pave the way for 11 100-yard rushing games at Montana State in 2021.

Kidd made 48 consecutive starts on the offensive line in his college career, which was good enough for third-most in school history. Kidd has the size and stature to be an intriguing prospect for the Saints to consider, and in all honesty, they could give Kidd a chance. Kidd is a big guy, and he doesn’t lack much athleticism either.

All in all, adding an offensive lineman who can stay healthy and play a variety of positions is very valuable to the Saints. I like Kidd’s odds to make the final roster this fall.
