Isaiah Pryor, LB (Notre Dame)

Isiah Pryor is a bit of an interesting prospect for the New Orleans Saints to add to their roster. Pryor, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 204 pounds, switched to the linebacker position for his senior season of college football.

Pryor played safety for his other four years of college and all four years of high school and has shown he can adjust to a whole new position for one of the best programs in college football. That should excite Saints fans.

Isaiah Pryor most recently played for Notre Dame, but before he did that he spent his first three years of college football with (you guessed it) Ohio State. Pryor should have no trouble fitting into the culture that has some of his former teammates already on the squad including fellow linebacker Pete Werner, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, and quarterback Ian Book (Notre Dame).

While Pryor already has ties with the New Orleans Saints, that certainly doesn’t guarantee him a roster spot. In fact, Pryor will have to really impress the coaching staff if he hopes to crack the final roster this year.

Pryor was good in college, but only having one full season as a linebacker will certainly hurt his chances of hanging with the big dogs in the Big Easy.
