The 2022 NFL Draft is in the books and now the New Orleans Saints need to keep zeroing in on free agents and bring them to the Bayou. They already signed Tyrann Mathieu but they shouldn’t call it quits there.

Here are three other free agents New Orleans should target following the draft.

3. Riley Reiff

The Saints spent one of their first-round picks on Trevor Penning, a punishing option at left tackle. If Penning doesn’t outright win the job in the offseason, it’ll be James Hurst starting at left tackle instead.

New Orleans is also set on the right side of the line with Ryan Ramczyk returning for his sixth season at the helm. Ramczyk missed some time last year due to injury and that is a reason why the Saints should consider taking a flier on Riley Reiff.

Reiff spent the first eight years of his career (four in Detroit, four in Minnesota) at left tackle before making the switch to right tackle during his lone season with the Bengals last year. While he performed well as a starter, he’s probably not a great option as a starter long-term due to his recent injuries.

If the Saints brought Reiff in, however, he’d be a nice insurance policy to have should Ramczyk or either of their left tackles be forced to miss time.
