The latest Saints mock draft might have the New Orleans Saints wait to draft a wide receiver but they end up doubling up on the position, which no one would complain about.

Entering the 2022 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints have no choice but to add at least one wide receiver due to their inactivity in free agency at the position. This is the exact same thing the Saints did last year in free agency but, unfortunately, when the draft rolled around, they waited until the final round to take a wideout.

That cannot be the case this time around. The Saints have to add at least one wide receiver but in this mock draft, which I conducted on Pro Football Network, the black and gold add two. It’d be great if both of these guys could enter the Saints’ offense and make an immediate impact.

Jameis Winston played well last year but not having any weapons hurt any chance of him truly being impressive. This time around, they can’t make that same mistake.

The other two picks in this draft would greatly improve this team. One would fill a major position of need with a key player leaving and the other would be a tackling machine on defense, keeping that side of the ball a talented unit moving forward.

Let’s get to the mock draft!
