Marquez Callaway

Marquez Callaway had a lot of unfair expectations placed on him in 2021 and while he didn’t end up being the superstar that many wanted him to be, he did pretty well for a former undrafted wide receiver. Callaway ended the season with 698 yards and six touchdowns, which is pretty good considering he was only in his second year as a pro.

While Callaway serving as the WR2 wouldn’t be the most popular choice, he showed in 2021 that he’s a talented receiver but should not be the top guy in the offense. He and Jameis Winston also established chemistry too, which is another reason the Saints could go in this direction.

Deonte Harris

I wouldn’t consider this to be a realistic option but Deonte Harris did show flashes of potential in NOLA’s offense this past season. He was second in receiving yards for the Saints with 570 and found the end zone three times.

Harris is mostly known as a return specialist but he showed in 2021 that he can be a receiving threat for this team. This wouldn’t be a popular decision but Harris is someone who could slot in as the WR2 if all else fails.
