We’ll tackle both of the Ohio State receivers here, starting with Chris Olave. At one point, it seemed like Olave was a lock to go in the top 10 of the draft but that’s not the case anymore. He might still be a top 10 pick but if he slid to the Saints at No. 18, no one would be surprised. Olave had 936 yards and 13 touchdowns during the 2021 season.
Garrett Wilson definitely saw his stock rise in a massive way in 2021 and for good reason. The Draft Network doesn’t think of highly as him as other draft sites do but Wilson is someone who could take this Saints offense to the next level. The Buckeye had 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns last year.
Either of these Ohio State options would be excellent pieces in the New Orleans offense but will they fall to the Saints at No. 18? That’s what we’ll have to watch out for when the 2022 NFL Draft rolls around.
