Round 3: Pick 100 – Chad Muma, LB (Wyoming)

This would be an AWESOME pickup for the Saints in the third round, as Chad Muma is one of the most ferocious tacklers in all of college football. The Wyoming product tallied a whopping 142 tackles and three interceptions through 13 games this season. Sign me up for that kind of production in the Big Easy.

The Saints could lose Kwon Alexander to free agency but they’re set up to succeed with Demario Davis and Pete Werner at linebacker. Adding Muma to that group only makes that unit deadlier.

While I’d love to see NOLA land Muma here, I find it hard to believe that he’ll still be available at this point of the draft. A guy who had nearly 150 tackles and three picks is someone who teams will covet for sure.

If Muma is on the board when the 100th pick rolls around, New Orleans would be fools not to snatch him up and add him to their already stacked defense.
