1. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have arguably the best offensive line in the league, which is funny because a lack of a good line is why Andrew Luck retired before he even hit 30. Now the Colts have everything else but a quarterback but they’ll be in search of another left tackle this offseason with Eric Fisher hitting free agency.
Fisher was never a long-term answer for the Colts but Armstead could be someone they look to lock up for the next three or four years to keep their o-line strong. They can certainly afford to do so, as they have the ninth-most cap space in the league and Armstead would be able to slide right into Indy’s starting offensive line without many issues.
Indianapolis has already been listed as an ideal landing spot for Armstead and it makes perfect sense as to why. They have the dough he could be looking for and a major need at the left tackle spot.
If Armstead leaves New Orleans, the Colts seem like the likeliest destination for him. Let’s hope he stays with the Saints though!
