NOLA Saints should trade for Taylor Rapp

There’s a strong possibility that New Orleans loses safety Marcus Williams in the offseason and if they do, they’ll need to find a replacement for their star player. Hopefully, we don’t have to worry about this, but there’s a chance Williams leaves on a big-time contract.

One option the Saints could look to replace Williams if he leaves is current Rams safety, Taylor Rapp. The former Washington Huskie is going to enter the final year of his rookie deal next season and that makes him someone to eye on the trade market.

While the Rams might not be willing to part with Rapp, they’re a team with very little draft capital and trading Rapp could get them some draft picks back. Rapp has 73 tackles this year and three interceptions and has been a very consistent player in Los Angeles.

I’m hoping New Orleans can find a way to keep Williams but if they can’t, adding Rapp to this Saints secondary would keep it in tip-top shape.
