NOLA Saints should trade for Dan Arnold
Hey, another familiar name for Saints fans! Dan Arnold went undrafted out of Wisconsin-Platteville and was able to stick with NOLA in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
He played with the Cardinals in the 2020 season and totaled 31 catches for 438 yards and four touchdowns in Arizona and then initially played with the Panthers to kick off the 2021 season. Saints fans might remember his three-catch 55-yard performance against New Orleans earlier this year and shortly after that performance, he was traded to the Jaguars.
While in Jacksonville, Arnold has racked up 28 receptions for 324 yards before finding his way onto IR. Arnold doesn’t hit free agency until the 2023 offseason and with the Saints’ tight end position not getting any better, he could be a great addition to the team.
Arnold might not be a superstar but he’s better than any tight end option currently on NOLA’s roster. With that being the case, I’d love to see the Saints make a trade to bring Arnold back to the Big Easy.
