4. Treylon Burks (Arkansas)

Arkansas was a nice story in college football this year and one of the best players for the Razorbacks was wide receiver, Treylon Burks. The playmaker finished the 2021 season totaling 67 receptions for 1,123 yards and 11 touchdowns.

One of The Draft Network‘s cons on Burks was that the Razorbacks asked him to do a lot of different things and he never found his true niche in the team’s offense. The Saints would know exactly where they’d want the guy to be though so that wouldn’t be a problem in the Big Easy

Burks’ size (6’3″, 225 pounds) helps him mismatch against cornerbacks, and with the pass-happy league that is the NFL these days, that’s a weapon New Orleans could desperately use. While Burks is No. 4 on this particular list, fans wouldn’t scoff one bit if this was who “fell” to the Saints in the first round of the draft.

NOLA has been linked to Burks countless times in mock drafts and it’s not hard to see why. The dude would be electric in this offense and while the team needs a quarterback who can actually get the ball to him, Burks could still make things happen for the black and gold.
