2. Rashard Higgins
Rashard Higgins has spent the entirety of his six-year career with the Browns so it wouldn’t be shocking if he returned there in the offseason. He’s not having one of his better seasons this year but he’s a good backup receiver option.
Higgins’ best season came last year when he hauled in 37 receptions for 599 yards and four touchdowns through 13 games and six starts. This year, he has just 15 catches for 185 yards through 11 games and only two starts.
The Colorado State product is 27 years old and if he actually tests free agency and is open to signing elsewhere, the Saints could really use him. He’d be a wonderful depth piece in the receiver room, as fans wouldn’t expect too much from him but also know he could come up with a clutch catch when needed.
It’ll just depend on if Higgins is open to moving out of Cleveland or not. If he is, New Orleans needs to make a run at him.
