2. Cleveland Browns
This might be jumping the gun here, but with Baker Mayfield missing the first start since he took over during his rookie season in 2018, the Browns might want to consider adding some quarterback depth. As of now, it’s Mayfield and Case Keenum at quarterback in Cleveland, which isn’t a terrible spot to be in.
With Mayfield not playing on Thursday night and potentially missing more time due to a shoulder injury, the Browns could be interested in adding Siemian to back up Keenum while their franchise signal-caller is out.
Shoulder injuries are nothing to scoff at and while I get the Browns want to be competitive while they’re in their “championship window”, rushing Mayfield back is the worst thing they can do moving forward. Siemian isn’t a rockstar and he might not even see the field as a starter but he gives the team a solid backup while Keenum is doing his thing as the starting quarterback.
