Now begins the run on tight ends with the last name beginning with “E”. We’ll start with Gerald Everett of the Seahawks.

Most people probably still think of Everett as a Ram, which is fair considering he spent the first four years of his career in Los Angeles. He signed with the Seahawks this offseason and with Russell Wilson missing an extended period of time, Seattle is in deep trouble. Their division is excruciatingly difficult and now they don’t have their future Hall of Fame quarterback to bail them out of trouble.

Everett is someone I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see traded but his production hasn’t exactly been game-changing. He only has eight catches for 77 yards and a touchdown through three games. That might not be enticing enough for the Saints to surrender a pick for.

Everett has never had more than three touchdowns in a season and his career-high in receiving yards is 417, which he did last year in LA. He’s not an ankle-breaking tight end by any means but he could provide some value in the Big Easy if the team opted to make this trade.
