4. Tyler Kroft

Here’s another former Bengals tight end in Tyler Kroft, who is currently catching passes from Zach Wilson in New York. Kroft, a former third-round pick by the Bengals in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Rutgers, has played in Cincinnati, Buffalo, and currently finds himself with the Jets.

Kroft’s role increased when the Jets sent Chris Herndon to Minnesota but he hasn’t been utilized a ton in the Big Apple to this point. He has just six catches for 46 yards and has yet to find the end zone for the Jets.

Kroft’s best season thus far was in 2017 with the Bengals when he totaled 42 receptions for 404 yards and a whopping seven touchdowns. He had over 100 yards receiving and three touchdowns last year in Buffalo, proving himself to be a nice red-zone target for quarterbacks.

Trading for Kroft might not be the most exciting move but he’d give the team some depth at tight end and that’s something they shouldn’t turn down right now given how lackluster the position has been for them through five games.
