5. C.J. Uzomah

As of now, it’s doubtful that the Bengals would trade C.J. Uzomah, as the team is 3-2 and surprising a lot of people so far this season. Their schedule does get more difficult though and if they start dropping games and falling out of contention, a trade of their tight end could be on the table.

Uzomah was a fifth-round draft choice in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Auburn and has been a nice Day 3 selection for Cincinnati. His best season came in 2018 when he hauled in 43 receptions for 439 yards and three touchdowns.

Uzomah had the big game on Thursday Night Football this season but otherwise, the Bengals haven’t looked his way much. They drafted Drew Sample in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft and also have Joe Burrow’s former teammate Thaddeus Moss on their practice squad. This gives them some options at tight end and could be why they’d consider trading Uzomah if the asking price was right.

New Orleans would love to have a guy like Uzomah on their roster. He’d immediately be the starting tight end in the Big Easy but would Cincinnati trade him? Until we know more about this year’s Bengals team, it’s really hard to say.
