The New Orleans Saints beat the Washington Football Team 33-22 on Sunday in high-scoring fashion, and there was a lot to like about the Saints’ team performance.

Jameis Winston had some nice throws, going 15-of-30 for 279 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Alvin Kamara was more utilized in the passing game, as evident by his eight targets and 51 receiving yards.

The toughest moment of the game was probably seeing Taysom Hill get carted off the field after a hit to the head. We don’t think Hill should be playing quarterback, ever, but he’s been an uber-dynamic part of Sean Payton’s offensive scheme in 2021.

But lesser-known stars shone as well, as they needed to in a thrilling back and forth matchup against a versatile and dangerous Washington offense.

Then again, some of the usual suspects disappointed too, and certain players’ performances left much to be desired on both sides of the field.

Here are the Saints winners and losers from Week 5.
