5 positions NOLA Saints should address by trade deadline

3. NOLA Saints should add Tight End
He’s not two full years into his career yet but Adam Trautman isn’t looking like the guy NOLA anticipated when they spent a third-round pick on him. He’s caught just four receptions this year and has been outplayed by Juwan Johnson, who has three touchdowns in four games.
There are some decent options out there at the tight end position just waiting for a better opportunity and New Orleans should take advantage.
Zach Ertz is now second to Dallas Goedert in Philadelphia, Evan Engram has tapered off for the Giants, and while it’s uncommon to trade within the division, maybe there’d be a way for NOLA to strike a deal with the Buccaneers for O.J. Howard.
Johnson has good chemistry with Jameis Winston, which is important, but adding a better tight end to this offense could be huge for them moving forward. The offense needs all the help it can get too.
