Kenny Stills

The reunion Saints fans were hoping for finally happened earlier this week, as Kenny Stills was signed to the team’s practice squad Monday night. The Saints’ former fifth-round draft pick in 2013 has come back home for a second chance in New Orleans.

After his best season in 2014, where he caught 63 passes for 931 yards and three touchdowns, Stills was traded to the Miami Dolphins in what seemed to be an unexpected move by Sean Payton and the front office.

He went on to have a solid career in the NFL, playing for the Saints, Dolphins, and Texans while totaling 310 catches for 4,843 yards and 37 touchdowns on top of averaging 15.6 yards per catch.

Stills had a down year last season with the Texans, catching just 11 passes for 144 yards and one score, but he’ll have the perfect opportunity for a bounce-back season with the Saints and can compete right away for the team’s number two wide receiver position.
