Week 1 of the NFL came and went and fortunately, the New Orleans Saints began their season with a W. They’re hoping to move to 2-0 this Sunday but they’ll have to get past the Panthers in order to reach that mark.
While NOLA put up 38 points in their blowout victory over the Packers, the receivers didn’t do much of that damage. Deonte Harris led the charge but a large chunk of his yards came from a 55-yard touchdown reception from Jameis Winston. Chris Hogan was the other receiver to find the end zone but that was his only catch of the game.
With that said, the Saints need to strongly consider trading for a receiver. Yes, they signed Kenny Stills but there are plenty of options out there who, if NOLA pulled the trigger and added them, could really put this offense over the top.
Let’s take a look at three receivers who would make sense for the Saints to trade for after Week 1. Two of these guys were heavily under-utilized in Week 1 while the other had a massive day but is playing for what will likely end up being a lousy team.
