The New Orleans Saints only had two preseason games due to the finale being canceled as a result of Hurricane Ida. That made it tougher for some of the players on the bubble to truly state their case to make the roster but they’re hoping at this point that they did enough.

The Saints’ 2021 regular season kicks off on Sept. 12 against the Packers, who will be the first opponent New Orleans will face in the post-Drew Brees era. We already know that Jameis Winston has won the starting quarterback job and there are several other players who are locks to make the team.

Let’s take some time to put together a 53-man roster and see what the Saints’ final roster will look like entering the first year without Brees under center. There were certainly some tough decisions to make here (particularly at wide receiver and linebacker) but this feels pretty close to how things should shake out in the Big Easy roster-wise.

Without further ado, let’s get to the final 53-man projection for the New Orleans Saints’ 2021 season.
