Saints fans hope that Kyle Pitts leaves the NFC South

This one might seem way too premature and I get it, as Kyle Pitts is a rookie who we’ve never seen take an NFL snap. Still, after watching what this kid did to defenders at Florida, I’m not looking forward to watching him play for the Falcons for at least the next four years (probably five if we’re being realistic).

Now that Jones is on his way to Nashville, Pitts is going to be utilized even more, which is a scary thought. The Falcons’ new tight end caught 43 passes for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns with Florida a season ago and was so good that in most years, he’d have probably been a top-three pick.

Pitts went No. 4 overall for a reason and it’s that he’s the real deal at tight end. Hopefully, Marcus Williams and the rest of the Saints’ safeties are up to the task of stopping Pitts because this guy could be an absolute nightmare to cover.

I know he’s only a rookie and the Saints will probably be forced to cover him twice a year for the next half-decade but man, I wish Pitts could leave the NFC South. He’s going to be a pain in the butt, that’s for sure.
