Why should you believe in Jameis Winston?

Well, do you believe in Sean Payton? While Payton hasn’t had to scout for quarterback much, he should know a good fit when it hits him, and Winston has clearly found favor with the Saints long-time quarterback.

Brought in last season in hopes that he could one day replace Brees, the Saints should’ve been worried that, if Brees returned, they would’ve missed their opportunity with another franchise quarterback.

They did not miss on Winston, and now they’re banking that he’ll be capable of putting up Brees-like numbers. What feels even more important is that Winston can lead the team in a similar, steady-minded fashion.

That said, Payton believes Winston can adequately lead the team, and you should too.
