With the NFL Draft the most important offseason event this year, here is a look at who the Saints could draft in each of the first three rounds.

We have already talked about potential first-round options for the Saints to draft at their No. 28 pick. Those options included Jaycee Horn, Nick Bolton, Zaven Collins, Terrace Marshall, Trevon Moehrig, and Levi Onwuzurike.

The Saints have a lot of ways that they could go.

They need positions to improve, and they will undoubtedly have more positions open up when they can’t re-sign free agents. After all Pro Football Focus doesn’t have the Saints signing a single top-150 free agent.

The Saints don’t technically have their own third-round pick, but because they lost Teddy Bridgewater to Carolina last year, they have a compensatory pick. For the sake of this mock draft, we are saying the compensatory position will be pick No. 99.

Sean Payton and his staff have undoubtedly already started preparing for what is to come in this draft. Based on years prior and Payton’s draft style, here is the pick that I project will be the best for the Saints if still on the board for them.
