Saints move up to No. 1

This last trade proposal might be the craziest one yet. Did you ever think that there was a possibility that the Saints could move up to the No. 1 overall pick to draft a superstar quarterback out of the University of Clemson.

With a new coach, the Jacksonville Jaguars might not be in the position to give this pick away, but the call should at least be made. The Jaguars are in a similar position to the Dolphins as well in the fact that they can potentially sign anyone they want in the offseason.

For the Saints to move up to a pick that would be valued at 3,000. They would have to give up three first-round picks and two second-round picks for the No. 1 pick. Even though it seems like a lot, the black and gold could be getting their quarterback for the next decade or more.

All of these trades on the outside might look like the Saints are giving up a hefty amount and they are. You aren’t just talking about drafting a high player, you are talking about the potential leader of your team who could be in that position for years — and cheap.
