Jameis Winston

This is the easiest position to predict.

The New Orleans Saints have built for the last decade a team to complement Drew Brees and his playing style. With his retirement impending hopefully sooner rather than later, it looks like it is going to be Winston who will take over.

Sean Payton has been preaching that they are going to stay in-house with this decision. He has also made mention several times how much he likes Jameis Winston. However, his playstyle is very different than that of Drew Brees.

Teams usually build around the quarterback. They have running backs, receivers, and tight ends that all complement the quarterback. The entire offense is controlled by and flows through him so it makes sense that all these positions revolve around him.

Winston likes to break from the pocket and occasionally use his legs and run — something that Brees never did. Therefore the receivers will need to block better downfield. Either way, when Winston takes over this team, it will need to be built around his strengths to win.
