New Orleans Saints: 3 potential destinations for Marcus Williams

The New Orleans Saints should officially be in offseason mode, and Marcus Williams may be a name that’ll stir quite a bit of debate these next few months.
For those of us not lucky enough to be in the Super Bowl, the offseason is upon us. Unfortunately, the Saints have a pretty dicey cap situation to deal with in 2021, so this offseason may not be that much fun.
While Mickey Loomis is known for his ability to manipulate and mold the cap to the team’s benefit, some good players will likely be lost and will be chalked up as a cap casualty. Nick Easton and Trey Hendrickson could be among them.
That said, Marcus Williams will also enter that conversation.
It’s very likely that Loomis and company make a strong push to retain the safety’s services. He somehow is a mere 24 years old and has flashed some really great play if a bit inconsistent at times.
If the Saints are unable to keep Williams, here are a few landing spots that just make sense.
