With a potential shake-up at quarterback, the New Orleans Saints may see some changes this offseason which could result in expanded roles for some players.

Defenses around the league are fully aware of the havoc Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas can cause each week, but the New Orleans Saints offense includes a host of additional talent that may emerge in 2021.

During the Payton-Brees era, the Saints offense has yielded some of the best statistical numbers in NFL history.

As future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees may likely retire this offseason, head coach Sean Payton and offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael are left with the task of maintaining the high offensive production that has been present for more than a decade.

Over the past 15 years, the Saints offense has not flourished through the production of one or two elite players but through utilizing the talent of each weapon on the offense.

The future quarterback for the Saints may have Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas at their disposal each Sunday, but the success of the Saints offense will depend on key contributions from various talents on the roster.
