Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers

It feels like just yesterday we were talking about the Saints and if Brees was going to retire last year. With Bridgewater replacing an injured Brees for five games in 2019, he got a chance to show the NFL world what he can do.

That resulted in the Saints signing him to a big contract or him going to start on another team being an unrestricted free agent. The Saints did not offer the quarterback a contract after Brees announced he would return on another two-year contract.

Bridgewater went on to sign with the Carolina Panthers where he threw for 3,733 yards on 340 completions for 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. In a rebuild and without Christian McCaffrey for the majority of the year, Bridgewater wasn’t set up for success.

However, the Panthers have been linked to some big names at the QB position like Deshaun Watson or Jameis Winston. If one of the two finds their way to Carolina, Bridgewater would likely want out again. Could we be looking at a reunion in New Orleans?
