3 reasons the New Orleans Saints should trade for Golden Tate

Number Two: Long-Term Stability
Golden Tate is currently playing in the second year of a four-year contract he signed with the New York Giants back in 2019.
If the New Orleans Saints were to trade for him, they would not only have a talented wide receiver to help them get through the competitive NFC playoffs, but they would have some stability with him under contract for two more seasons after.
One of the biggest things the New Orleans Saints lack is stability within their team.
The Saints have a few key pieces who have been locked up beyond this season in Michael Thomas, Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, and Alvin Kamara, but they need to add some key playmakers in the wide receiver room.
Emmanuel Sanders has one season left after this one and adding Golden Tate to help solidify that room would be lethal. When you take a look at all the Super Bowl-winning teams, they all have the same thing in common, they’re all loaded with talent in at least one position on their team.
We saw that in the Kansas City wide receivers last season. If the Saints bring in Golden Tate, it could be the exact same story for them.
