Number Three: Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara isn’t necessarily a surprise player to be on this list because we all know what skill set he brings to the table, but his level of production is on a whole extra level.

Kamara has been an absolute monster for the Saints after getting a very wealthy contract extension prior to the first game against Tampa Bay.

In four games this season, Kamara has recorded 50 carries, 236 rushing yards, a 4.7 yards per carry average, 30 receptions, 321 receiving yards, and seven total touchdowns.

Those numbers easily make him the best running back in the NFL right now and have Saints fans very excited for what the rest of the season will look like for him. Kamara is easily a legitimate candidate for NFL Offensive Player of the Year if he continues this pace.
