3 most important Saints in crushing Week 1 victory over Bucs

Number Two: Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara did not have mind-blowing numbers against the stout Tampa Bay defense, but he was without question the best offensive player the Saints had on the field on Sunday.
Fresh off a five-year contract extension, it was obvious Kamara was enjoying playing football again, a sight the rest of NFC South should fear.
Alvin Kamara was obviously the focal point of the Saints offense as they tried to get him the ball as often as possible. Kamara finished the afternoon with 12 rush attempts, 16 rushing yards, five receptions, 51 receiving yards, and two touchdowns.
Kamara oftentimes took the attention of the defense with him and allowed other players such as tight end Jared Cook, Swiss Army knife Taysom Hill, and wide receiver Deonte Harris to thrive in the open field.
Kamara even took a quarterback snap on Sunday, a play that ended up going for about eight yards and a first down on a keeper.
Kamara already has a quarter of the touchdowns he scored a year ago, and it’s only week one. The rest of the season is bound to be a movie for the second-richest running back in NFL history.
