Jared Cook

The New Orleans Saints brought in Jared Cook last year, and while he struggled to start off on a good foot, Cook came on strong late.

He was dominant the last half the season and is now looking for a solid season in order to get another big-time contract this offseason. That contract likely won’t be with the Saints who brought in third-round draft pick Adam Troutman.

Cook recorded the second-most touchdowns among tight ends in 2020.

With most of those coming late in the season, Cook may be primed for another terrific season. But, with Troutman and Josh Hill along with Tommy Stevens who is also listed as a tight end, the room for tight ends is slim.

Cook is going to be a mismatch nightmare for teams this season. The 6-foot-5, 33-year-old may also be a little rough compared to Troutman who is entering his first season in the NFL.
