Number One: Marshon Lattimore

Marshon Lattimore has taken the NFL by storm since his arrival to the league after being drafted eleventh overall by the New Orleans Saints back in 2017. Lattimore, just 24 years old, has quickly become one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL and doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon.

Lattimore is going to exit training camp as the number one cornerback for the Saints and looks to continue his success against some of the league’s top wide receivers.

He had a fifth-year option on his contract so it’s not necessarily a contract year for him, but he should be competing like it is as he’ll be looking at a huge new deal in 2021.

In his three year career thus far, Lattimore has recorded 168 tackles, three tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles, four fumbles recovered, 44 passes defended, eight interceptions, and one defensive touchdown.

He has also attended two Pro Bowls in three seasons and in 2019 opposing signal-callers completed just 50 percent of passes when throwing to Lattimore.

Lattimore is easily a lock to make the final 53-man roster and will look to help the Saints make a playoff run once again in 2020.
