Number Three: Play Style

The New Orleans Saints have made it a point to try to bring in more physical linebackers to add on their roster. They did just that when they brought in Nigel Bradham for cheap.

Most of the Saints linebackers aren’t very physical aside from Kiko Alonso and Demario Davis and the team could have had one of the most physical, hard-hitting linebackers in the NFL with Bradham.

Nigel Bradham’s playstyle is a big reason why once he was released from the Philadelphia Eagles he was a hot commodity to bring on the team. Bradham’s statistics prove just how productive he was in his career and what he could have brought to the Saints’ corps.

In eight seasons with the Bills and Eagles, Bradham recorded 619 tackles, 34 tackles for a loss, 21 quarterback hits, 8.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, five fumbles recovered, 33 passes defended, three interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns.

The Saints will certainly miss that level of productivity and his physical play style in 2020.
