Saints Roster Moves: 3 reasons releasing Nigel Bradham was a mistake

Number Two: Reliability
One could argue that aside from Demario Davis the most inconsistent part of the New Orleans Saints linebacker corps is reliability.
The Saints have a hard time finding linebackers who actually spend most of their time on the football field rather than the training table, and Bradham is a guy who plays the majority of games in a season.
The fewest amount of games that Nigel Bradham has ever played in a season is eleven, which was back in 2015 when he played for the Buffalo Bills.
Bradham is a physical, hard-hitting linebacker who somehow doesn’t miss a lot of games.
Alex Anzalone has missed more games than he’s played in his career but Bradham is the one who gets let go despite doing everything well in training camp. Given Anzalone’s dominance in camp, it makes sense, but it may regrettable if he gets injured again early on.
The reliability of Nigel Bradham will certainly be missed in 2020, especially in a season where depth is at an all-time importance.
