Number Two: Zack Baun

Zack Baun is not only a lock to make the final 53-man roster, but he’s also likely going to start for the New Orleans Saints in his rookie season. Baun, one of the best edge rushers in college football in 2019, was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft after the Saints moved up to acquire him.

Baun put up some incredible stats at Wisconsin in 2019. In 14 games, Baun totaled 75 tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two passes defended, one interception, and one defensive touchdown.

Baun had the second-highest tackle for loss total and sack total in the Big Ten behind the number two overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Chase Young.

The fact that the Saints were able to get a Pro Bowl-caliber player in the third round of the draft should have all the team’s diehard fanbase excited for the future of the team. Baun is a guarantee to make the final roster.
