Latavius Murray

The New Orleans Saints brought in Latavius Murray last season. Coming over from the Minnesota Vikings to gave the full rains of their backfield to superstar Dalvin Cook, Murray came in an played an increasingly important role within the Saints offense.

He was efficiency in the snaps he was given, notching over 100 yards whenever seeing 20-plus touches.

While he only did that twice, Murray wasn’t the lead back most games given Alvin Kamara’s prominence on the team. The three-time Pro Bowler did miss two games though. In those games, Murray helped propel the team’s offense.

Murray was used more often than many thought as Kamara was playing through an injury for most of the season. Needing more praise, Murray ended the 2019 season with 637 yards and five touchdowns. He also recorded eight starts.
