Number Four: David Onyemata

David Onyemata might actually be the best defensive tackle on the New Orleans Saints’ roster due to the fact that he’s never on the sidelines and he’s always making an impact.

Onyemata, 27, has only missed one game in his career and it was the first game of 2019 due to a suspension he had to serve.

Onyemata has been a model of consistency for the Saints, which is why they signed him to a contract extension this offseason. In a position in which health is also considered a gift, Onyemata has thrived.

Onyemata in his four years with the Saints has recorded 123 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 26 quarterback hits, 9.5 sacks, three passes defended, and one forced fumble.

Onyemata is a for sure lock to make the Saints’ final 53-man roster.
