Number Three: Andrus Peat

Andrus Peat is the starting guard for the New Orleans Saints and he is a lock to make the New Orleans Saints’ final 5- man roster this season. The Saints recently gave Peat, a five-year starter for the Saints, a five year, 57.5 million dollar contract this offseason.

The Saints obviously love Andrus Peat if they want to keep him around for the next five years. Peat has been a productive player; he hasn’t been perfect, but he has been productive.

Many Saints fans across the world were in shock when they heard the Saints re-signed Andrus Peat to a five-year contract extension, especially following a season where he missed six games and missed a crucial block that saw Drew Brees hit the training table.

Nonetheless, Peat has been very efficient in his career with the team. Peat has started in 60 of the 65 games he’s played in and has attended two Pro Bowls. Peat is a lock to make the final 53-man roster whether the fans agree with it or not.
