Number One: Calvin Throckmorton

Calvin Throckmorton is a wild card to make the final roster for the New Orleans Saints, but his versatility and reliability gives him a strong shot. Throckmorton, 24, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Saints following the 2020 NFL Draft.

Throckmorton stands at a hearty 6-foot-5 inches tall and weighs an intimidating 311 pounds.

That may just seem like your average NFL offensive lineman, but when you consider the fact that Throckmorton can play offensive tackle, offensive guard, and center, those numbers look a tad more intimidating.

In Throckmorton’s college career at Oregon, he made 52 consecutive starts; 41 as a right tackle, five as a left tackle, three as a right guard, and three as a center. Throckmorton also went 45 games (3,224 snaps) without allowing a sack.

Throckmorton was the highest-paid undrafted free agent that the Saints brought in and he seems like a great player to crack the final 53-man roster.
