Michael Thomas

2019’s Offensive Player of the Year was always a lock to come in as Drew Brees’ top threat of 2020.

Thomas shattered the NFL’s previous record for most receptions in a singles season, nearing 150. Thomas ended the season with double-digit reception totals in nine games. Originally from Ohio State, Thomas will be entering his fifth season in the league.

All four that have come before 2020 have ended with Thomas having over 1,000 yards. While many deny it, it’s time to give in to the fact that Thomas is the best receiver in the league. He’s just that good.

In the prime of his career and two years into his new deal, Thomas has proven that, even when he doesn’t need to prove himself, he will. Thomas likely won’t get more targets or receptions than he did last season, but his impact should be just as great.

Thomas is easily the top option for Brees in 2020.
