New Orleans Saints: Ranking Drew Brees’ top-5 targets in 2020

Emmanuel Sanders
It’s insane to think that Emmanuel Sanders may be the fourth option for the New Orleans Saints offense this season. The offseason addition that signed on for two years will be the No. 2 receiver for Brees.
Sanders is coming over from San Francisco, a team that gave up draft capital in the middle of the 2019 season to bring him in. It paid off as the 49ers made it all way to the Super Bowl, representing the NFC.
Used to elite quarterbacks, Sanders has played with Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning among other uber-accurate passers. Sanders is already a huge fan of Brees, telling Saints beat writer Sam Shannon that “nobody is going to outwork him.”
Having two Pro Bowls to his name and three 1,000-yard seasons, Sanders has put up over 800 yards the last two years. He’s still at the top of his game, and with Michael Thomas, let’s hope the two can give Brees all he needs to succeed.
